ROOF-TOP SOLAR COMPANY LOOKING TO RAISE $3.5M WITH SEVERAL LARGE CONTRACTS SIGNED IN SURAYBAYA
Project type: Solar Power
Total Funding needed: US$ 3.5m for Phase 1
Project Summary: Our client is developing up to 100MW of “roof-top” solar power sold to retail malls, Hotels and factories. Feasibility studies have been completed on 2.5MW with client agreements in place.
Phase 1, 2020: (FS studies complete) 2.5MW of power to be provided on the roof of the largest mall in Surabaya (1.8MW) as well as a large regional Hotel group. The clients are ready to commence construction.
Full Pipeline: The full pipeline of projects under negotiation is in excess of 100MW, predominantly in Surabaya. The full pipeline spreadsheet with each client’s contract status is available upon request.
Project Details: Unlike conventional grid-based energy production, roof-top solar power is a contract that exists between the service provider (our client) and a retail customer. Large retail customers are able to apply for a license to operate their own power generation systems. The PLN typically allows this as any surplus power produced can go back into the grid.
